I agree. Turns out I need more arch support. Got steroid shot in each foot and it hurt like hell!!! Also got special insoles to use in any closed back shoes.

I ended up off my feet for 4 days back in February because they hurt so bad I could hardly stand it (talk about a non-romantic Valentine’s Day!). My doc couldn’t find a reason for the pain, but did prescribe Neurontin (sp?) + ice packs, and recommended . . . NO MORE CHEAP SHOES. I went and splurged on a pair of Danskos and have had very little problem with my feet. I highly recommend them – you might try wearing a good quality shoe all the time and see how your feet feel.

Oh, and those gurgling foot baths are so nice . . . especially if you add lavender scented salts!
